Spanish 21

Spanish 21 is as easy to play as standard blackjack but gives the player more liberal rules and betting options. Some of these are:

Betting Options

Player BlackJackAlways beats a dealer BlackJack and pays 3 to 2.
Player Total of 21Always beats the dealer total of 21 and pays up to 3 to 1.
Pair SplittingPlayers may split cards of equal value, including Aces, creating up to 4 hands. Hitting and doubling of split hands including Aces is allowed.
Double DownDouble down once with 2 or more cards on any total including after splitting. No bonuses on doubled hands.
Double Down RescueAfter doubling, if a player is dissatisfied with their non-broken hand, they may rescue (take back) the doubled portion of the bet and forfeit the original wager.
SurrenderIf a player does not like their first 2 cards, they may surrender half of their wager and forfeit the hand. Players may not surrender if the dealer has a blackjack.

Match the Dealer

In addition to the regular wager, a player can bet that either or both of their first 2 cards will numerically match the dealer's up-card. The bet may be from $1 up to the amount of their regular wager. A player must make a regular BlackJack wager to play Match the Dealer.
